Looking Ahead to NASIG 2024: CPC Update

The Conference Planning Committee (CPC) is gearing up for the 39th Annual NASIG Conference to be held June 3-7, 2024 in Spokane, Washington. The conference will be in-person only at The Davenport Grand hotel. Located in the heart of the city’s downtown, the hotel is within walking distance of the Riverfront Park and Spokane Falls, which boasts great trails, wonderful views of the falls, and many interesting and historic sites to visit, including the United States Pavilion from the 1974 Exposition. There are several other nearby sites including Huntington Park and various wine tasting rooms. Within a three mile radius are the Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture, Kendall Yards, Manito Park & Botanical Gardens, Finch Arboretum, Bing Crosby’s family home & museum, and many of Spokane’s historic neighborhoods including Browne’s Addition and Nettleton’s Addition. With a quasi-Mediterranean summer climate, Spokane is usually pleasantly warm and dry in June.

If the arts are more your style, catch a show at the First Interstate Center for the Arts, the Spokane Civic Theatre, the Bing Crosby Theater, or the Fox Theater, or perhaps a game at the Spokane Arena. Spokane has a thriving foodie scene with a variety of cuisines, from the eclectic Inland Pacific Kitchen, fresh seafood at Zona Blanca, unique tacos at Cochinito, or trendy cocktails at the Volstead Act. Not to worry, there are plenty of great coffee stops nearby as well, including Atticus Coffee & Gifts, The Wet Whistle, and Indaba Coffee.

Mark your calendars and plan on coming to NASIG in 2024! We’ll report back with more developments in the coming months.
