NASIG Student Mentoring Program Call for Mentors

The NASIG Mentoring Committee is now accepting applications to join the mentoring program.  The program is a yearlong commitment, and connects professionals with LIS students or people new to the industry.

This mentoring program, unlike the First-Timers Mentoring Program, is not connected to the conference and will still be held throughout the year.

The goals of the program include:

  • Providing an opportunity for student members to get involved with NASIG and learn from professionals.
  • Providing an opportunity for mentors to give back and help student members grow in the field while at the same time learning from their mentees.

Participants must be NASIG members in good standing at of the start of the program, and must either attend the Mentor/Mentee orientation at the NASIG Annual Conference or be able to participate in a virtual orientation at a time to be determined.

The deadline for applications is: May 1, 2020
