Deadline extension for NASIG Student Spotlight Sessions – Monday, April 29, 2019

Deadline extension to Monday, April 29th

The NASIG Student Outreach Committee (SOC) invites proposals for the Student Spotlight Sessions for the 34rd NASIG conference in Pittsburgh, PA from June 5 to June 8. The theme of the conference is “Building Bridges.”

The Student Spotlight Sessions will consist of up to eight 5-minute presentations with a focus on an idea, project, workflow, etc.  Student Spotlight Sessions provide an excellent introduction to professional presentations and look great on resumes!

Proposals may present a report of a research study, an analysis of a practical problem-solving effort, or a description of an innovative program that may be of interest to the NASIG community. Proposals should name any particular products or services that are integral to the content of the showcase or snapshot. However, as a matter of NASIG policy, showcases and snapshots should not be used as a venue to promote or attack any product, service, or institution.
