Core Competencies for Scholarly Communication Librarians

The NASIG Scholarly Communications Core Competencies Task Force (CCTF) has released the final draft of the Core Competencies for Scholarly Communication Librarians. This document describes the skills that librarians need to work in the highly collaborative environment related to digital scholarship and scholarly communications in today’s libraries.

The CCTF will hold discussion sessions at the 32th annual NASIG conference in Indianapolis, Indiana, to gather feedback on the draft Core Competencies for Scholarly Communication Librarians. NASIG members are also invited to submit their comments to the Task Force by email.
