Description:
Publishers have a vested interest in making sure their content is widely accessible. Libraries are increasingly relying on publisher-supplied metadata to support user access to electronic content. This webinar will present case studies of how metadata created and managed by publishers is currently being used in library systems (library catalog, link resolver and discovery system) to support user access. Although intended to provide background information to publishers and library-service providers, this session may also be of interest to librarians who manage some aspect of electronic resource content or access.
Speaker: Steven Shadle
